Manchester League and Trophy competition entries 2019-20 now needed!

Clubs are reminded that entries to next season’s Manchester League and Trophy competitions are now needed as soon as possible, to enable a prompt start to be made on making the fixtures.

At this stage, the basic information we need from club secretaries is:

How many teams do you wish to enter in the league?

Which divisions are you applying for?

Which trophy competitions do you wish to enter (if any)?

Your club’s match night(s)?

Finally - any requests regarding weeks/days (in addition to the normal holidays) which would be unsuitable for matches.

Please note that as well as the usual divisions A-C (7 boards), D (5 boards) and E (5 boards U121),  a rapidplay division F is planned, for which entries are also invited.

information regarding the proposed Rapidplay division (F can be found on the donload page of the website. At the link below.

https://www.manchesterchess.com/downloads

Entries should be sent to the MCF Secretary Andrew Shingleton (andrewshingleton89@googlemail.com) and copied to the President John Walton (jofrawal@btinternet.com), Executive Officer Jon Lonsdale (jon@jlonsdale.net) and Fixtures Secretary Phil Adams (phil1948a@hotmail.com)

Venue details, player registration lists etc. are not needed at this stage but will be requested before the start of the season.

If you have any queries, or need any help, please contact the Fixtures Secretary.
