Manchester Juniors On Line

FOUR NATIONS CHESS LEAGUES

Since over the board chess has not been possible, Manchester Juniors

have played a in a variety of ON LINE tournaments.

This has included on line games against teams from Edmonton,

Canada, St Petersburg and Rybnik.

We have also fielded teams in the Four Nations Chess League and the

Junior Four Nations Chess League.

These two competitions are restarting in August and we will again enter

Manchester Teams.

Dates of the 4NCL online league games can be found here.https://www.manchesterchess.com/manchester-junior-chess

As Manchester Juniors run as a squad, you do not have to be available for all the dates.

Peter Webster "Condolences to Tom and his family. He played for the Greater Manchester team I captained in my gap year, and had the best individual record that season. I remember him arriving breathless at a venue in Worcestershire just before the default time and bashing out 1...Nc6 in response to 1 e4, and quickly getting a winning position".
