ANNUAL OVERSEAS CHESS TOUR
SHANGHAI JULY 2020
Following successful visits over the last ten years to Poland (x2), Germany, Eire (x2) Spain and Russia (x2), Manchester Junior Chess has agreed with the Shanghai Ex Pat Chess Academy for a summer tour to Shanghai in July 2020.
The itinerary would include chess matches against children in Shanghai, an open Rapidplay and some social chess against our hosts. There will also be opportunities for seeing Shanghai.
Travel arrangements will be organised by Howards Way Travel who have done excellent service for us in the past. Their unconfirmed itinerary would be as follows.
5 July Manchester/Doha/Pudong Shanghai
0940/1950/2145/1035 on the 6 July (twelve hour plus flight)
11 July (But checking in 10 July) Shanghai/Doha/Manchester
Staying 4 nights Holiday Inn Shanghai Downtown hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis
£799pp based on 2 to 3 sharing a room.
Flying with Air France Manchester/Paris/Pudong Shanghai
All children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
